I was, unfortunately, not selected as the overall winner of this competition. However, I am honoured to have been among the 9 shortlisted entrants out of around 1000 entries of children’s stories, from picture books up to YA.
My shortlisted entry was a recently-completed Middle Grade (ideal for readers aged 9-11) story about a very grumpy fairy and two adventurous girls, set in the wonderful West Midlands in the UK.
